Durham Jordan 1 vs. Green Hope 1
Green Hope traveled to Durham-Jordan on Monday night.
The game was fairly even with both teams having equal possession and opportunities to score.
Midway through the first half, Magnus Sorensen stole the ball in the Jordan defensive third and hit a hard
low shot to the right corner of the goal to put Green Hope up 1-0. Green Hope had a few other opportunities
in the first half created with excellent through balls to the wingers, quality crosses and some good set pieces.
Durham Jordan tied the game in the second half as they broke through the central defense for a break away. Score 1-1.
Green Hope had chances to put the game away several times, but just missed on numerous opportunities.
The effort, tactics and desire were there, but the final finish was just lacking.
Green Hope travels to Grimsley Wednesday for a match up against the Greensboro power. |
