Green Hope hosted Lee County Monday for the first game of the week during the last week of the season. Earlier in the year, Green Hope traveled to Lee County and squeaked out a 1-0 win in the waning moments of the game.

The Falcons were a little more accurate on Monday, scoring 40 seconds into the game and taking advantage of almost every chance they created. Hopefully, this is a sign the team is peaking for the play-offs.

The team played a great team game. Everyone did their part to earn the victory. The injury bug has also hit Lee County as it has many other teams in the Tri-8. Out of respect for the opponent, we voluntarily played with 10 players for 20 minutes and 9 players for the last 12 minutes.
