Head Varsity Coach Andrew Chadwick

Andrew Chadwick will enter his seventh season as the Head Coach of the Varsity team in 2008. Green Hope has compiled a record of 106-30-11 during his tenure. The Falcons have made the State Play-offs each year he has coached the team, including semifinal appearances in 2004, 2005 and again in 2007. Chadwick joined the Green Hope program in 2001 as a volunteer assistant to Steve Chapman and became the Head Coach in 2002.

Chadwick played youth soccer in Atlanta for the Concord and AFC Lightning soccer clubs, won a Georgia High School State Championship at Redan HS in 1988 and was a member of the Georgia and Region III ODP system. He attended Clemson University from 1988-1990 on a soccer scholarship. In 1990, Chadwick stopped playing collegiate soccer and transferred to the University of Georgia to pursue a degree in Business and play college football as a place-kicker. He earned his BBA from UGA in 1993.

Chadwick holds the US Soccer National "A" license and NSCAA National Coaching Diploma. He works full-time at MATRIX Resources, an Information Technology staffing company in RTP. Andrew, his wife and daughter live in Raleigh.

Head JV Coach John Green

John Green will begin his fourth season as head coach of the Falcon's Junior Varsity soccer team in 2007. In three seasons, his Green Hope squads have amassed an impressive 43-8-6 record while capturing one conference championship.

A graduate of Barton College, Coach Green teaches physical education at Green Hope. While at Barton, he was a standout forward for the Bulldog basketball squad, leading the team in several statistical categories and topping the conference in free throw percentage. John was honored by the Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference as a first team all-conference selection, and as a member of the CVAC Presidential Honor Roll. He also set an NCAA Division II mark, scoring 18 of his 43 points in overtime in a victory over rival St. Andrews.

Previously Coach Green was a soccer coach for a youth soccer league team in Wilson, and played high school soccer, football, basketball, and tennis for Beddingfield High School in Wilson. As a senior in high school he received the Raleigh News and Observer 'North Carolina's Athlete of the Year' award. Coach Green is extremely excited about teaching and coaching at Green Hope and looks to continue the successful tradition of Green Hope Junior Varsity soccer. He expects great things from his players both athletically and academically.
